You are an essential partner in your loved one’s care. Lenox Home Care encourages you to stay involved. Please get to know the caregivers and supervisors providing care to your loved one. If you see anything in the home that concerns you, report it immediately no matter how trivial your observation may seem. Visit as frequently as possible to get an accurate understanding of what is going on. (Long distance family members may want to find someone trusted to make the visits.) Lenox will do “surprise” supervisory visits in addition to scheduled supervisory visits, an important aspect of quality assurance. We a complete la og of activities and notes as well as full record of medications, medical history and emergency contacts for your review. Family members have full access to the charts and the notes can be scanned and emailed if you wish. Please feel free to contact Lenox at any time to discuss your loved one’s care.
We routinely perform in-home assessments that result in a customized care plan for your loved ones. You may choose to have us carry out the care plan in whole or in part, or you may simply choose to use the care plan to improve your own ability to care for your loved one. We can help you assess the risks that your loved one faces and provide education on how to minimize the risk of falling.
